BRUCE POWER ANNOUNCED AS GAME DAY PARTNER OF THE MASTERS INDIGENOUS GAMES

Mississauga, Ontario — August 24, 2023 — The Masters Indigenous Games organizing committee is excited to announce Bruce Power as a proud game day partner of the 2023 Masters Indigenous Games.

Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario (ISWO) is the official Provincial/Territorial Aboriginal Sport Body
(P/TASB) for Ontario and consistently delivers outstanding sporting and cultural events. Following a few challenging years of restrictions and limitations on in-person programming, ISWO successfully hosted the 2022 Ontario Summer Indigenous Games.

Bruce Power is Canada’s only private-sector nuclear power generator, supplying 30% of Ontario’s power. Bruce Power is situated on the traditional territories of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, and as a result, Bruce Power is dedicated to honouring the history and culture of Indigenous peoples and working alongside the Indigenous communities that are around Bruce Power’s site.
